Below are the titles of organizations, a brief summary of what type of volunteering they offer, and a link to create a profile or contact that organization. The name of each different organization is a link to that organization’s main volunteer page.
Childrens Hospital Colorado
An application must be filled out for this opportunity before volunteers are able to access a volunteering schedule. Types of volunteering vary but one common opportunity is sorting medical supplies (gloves, masks, etc.).

Habitat for Humanity
Volunteers under the age of 16 must sign up for opportunities with a parent. All volunteers attending must make a separate account to access opportunities. Volunteers can work in ReStores unpacking and building the furniture that has been donated. Depending on location volunteers must be at least 16 but sometimes 18 to volunteer in the construction of houses.

Volunteers must create an account with Ronald McDonald house. After there are multiple different types of volunteer opportunities, you can work to help keep the house clean or be a family room helper.

Dumb friends league
Volunteers must be at least 16. Sign up to volunteer at the Dumb Friends League Leslie A. Malone Center. There is an optional 1-hour tour to start your volunteering journey. To volunteer, you are committing to a minimum of one 3-hour shift per week.

Denver Dream Center
This opportunity includes a variety of different kinds of volunteering. Volunteers must make an account to access the opportunity calendar. When signing up you must select the type of opportunities you are interested in, this does not limit you but records your interests. They also offer an internship program for those interested. Denver Rescue Mission
Minimum age requirements vary by location (including 12, 14, and 16), but all minors (under 18) must be accompanied by someone 18+. Volunteer opportunities include serving meals and working in a warehouse packaging and transporting food (minimum age of 16 accompanied by an adult). There are both one-time and recurring opportunities.

Food for Thought
Food for thought works to bridge the gap for students who rely on school for food. They are working to provide meals to kids for weekends, breaks, and days off. All current available opportunities are on Fridays. There are two locations one is outdoors and one is indoors at a warehouse. They also need donations and people to raise money for their organization.

Mind 4 Youth
Mind 4 Youth is a 6 week virtual program where you can gain up to 30 volunteer hours. Each week you focus on a different topic including managing stress and anxiety, understanding mental health, and mental illnesses and disorders. You also may be eligible to receive the Presidents volunteer service award. Following the completion of the program you will receive a certificate of achievement. (All of these accomplishments can be included in a college resume and on applications.) They also provide an internship program where you can gain real world experience in marketing or writing.

Food Bank of the Rockies
Food bank of the Rockies offers a variety of different types of volunteer opportunities. Click here for a description of each type. Volunteers under the age of 16 must volunteer with an adult (16+ can volunteer alone). However you must be 18+ to volunteer in the kitchen. Each individual volunteer must create their own account before they can sign up for opportunities, including parents volunteering with students.

Project Angel Heart
Volunteers can pick up bags to decorate (there are 3 different bag pickup/drop-off locations), 4 bags=1 hour (decorate one side only, and only with pictures no words or messages are accepted). Volunteers can also deliver meals with an adult/guardian. But for meal delivery a volunteer orientation is required (Virtual).

Denver Urban Gardens
Assist with sale days, seed sorting, gardening, planting, or even checking out customers. Volunteer opportunities vary based on the season and location. They also have a youth service fellowship you can apply for.

Cafe 180
Volunteers assist with running the cafe. Volunteers must be at least 10 years old and 14 years old to volunteer without a parent or guardian. Cafe 180 uses the Point App website to organize their volunteering so volunteers will need to make an account on the website. You can then view their opportunity calendar and sign up for open slots. Bluff Lake
Volunteers at Bluff Lake help preserve nature, educate kids about the environment, participate in park cleanups, etc.
